Many people here can help you if you give a little more info on both the problem you are having, as well as listing your computer specs. Hi, I know I'm not the person you were actually talking to but I'm still having issues with Legacy Edition, because I'm not quite sure I actually need it. I'm just going to leave my specs here, so if someone could tell me why I need Legacy that would be appreciated.
MacBook Pro (Late 2011 Model)- Its old, I know but it has been running 64-bit for quite some time
2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor
16GB 1600 MHz RAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000 512MB Graphics Card
I'm currently running High Sierra v10.13.6
I hate building and I more often than not use gallery Sims for the base of a lot of my Sims, so I would love to have the normal game back. I understand that EA did it because of Apple, but this is still a really rough update for me.
I’m not very familiar with any type of Mac, so I’m sure someone else could help more. I believe the reason you need the legacy edition (even though you have a 64 bit) is because your Mac needs Metal, and a lot of older models don’t support that.
