Speculation will be more fun than a barrel of monkies. ;) Because just think, Youtube and other places will be filled with fake TS5 videos where people swear it's leaked pictures and film of TS5. Remember all those fake real estate videos people said were TS4? :D Then we will get to see someone, somewhere, on the internet (again) use the Eve Character Creator showing some characters and swear those are TS5 Sims. :dizzy:
And a must from me, give us tools to create our own hair and clothes this time. It's 2018 and since bodyshop in TS2 we've not had a better tool/system.
There are already fake videos of the Sims 5, lol. They look awful. At least way back when they looked almost believable :joy:
Yes! Sims 5 would need to make tools the forefront. That’s the only way I can see The Sims 5 having appeal over any of the games. Tools.
But they also need to work. The Create A Style/Create A World tools for example are super unrealible and buggy. We need user end tools that don’t compromise game performance.
The fact that using CASt could make your game lag like crazy turned me off wanting to use it.
The CAW tool still makes me dizzy.
I think if they can simply bring a “what we expect” base game with The Sims 5, and then add amazing creation tools, they’ll have a winner.
They need *something* major that we haven’t had before, we don’t need “more venues (but are fake Rabbit Holes)” or “emotions” (that don’t intergrate with much of the game at all).
The Sims 3 World Packs show that EA won’t lose money by offering tools to make content that EA will sell. EA made a small fortune from Sims 3 worlds.
Give us the tools, and players will want it ALL. ALL OF THE THINGS.
