I know it sounds harsh but it's just not feasible for many reasons. It's the natural process of a long running franchise.

Feedback obviously changed since 2014, since EA have decided to port the entirety of the Sims 4 to console, while abandoning The Sims 3’s ports not long after it started.
It seems there was demand for one, and not for another. They even cancelled the DLC for The Sims 3 Pets.
Feedback on the 2009 forums wasn’t sunshine and rainbows either :wink:
But all of this comes down to the fact that EA will make decisions based on what sells, not what forums say or don’t say.
The Sims 4 obviously has high demand, and they’ll use 4 as a guide to Sims 5.
