The Spellcasters Versatility (share yours)


I am enjoying the versatility of the spellcasters. As a rotational player I always appreciate the stuff that enriches my game. Many of my characters are now refresh with RoM. For example:

1. My Selvadorada Witch: she was an archelogist, she have a wolf that loves fire. She loved to use her relics >:) And she used one just arriving to RoM. She was an old character but the first I took to RoM. She is now learning the Untamed Magic. My beginning with her was a little dark:

She is now a spellcaster, but she still loves her relics so we will travel to the jungle soon >:)

Thanks to her I discovered that Grimmy shows at RoM. Now I have a ghost for duels and to test some of untamed spells:

2. My "fake" faeries and ghosts: I'm playing with my "fake" fairies since day one. My fairies are childish, joyful but sometimes a little dangerous. So they are now spellcasters learning the Mischief Magic and Practical one. My fairies are not good with the Alchemy so I'm discovering the curses whit them :o I chose the magic for the ghosts depending of their backstory which gives more depth to the character. I love ghost households and RoM is awesome for ghosts, it is a new gameplay for me:

She is Marguerite, a XIX ghost, I played her many hours, now she is learning Mischief Magic (yes, I know, those outfits are a nightmare, but in this case L. Faba looks better as a knight lol):

3. My Sulani Sorcerer: well, this one is great, before RoM he lived in a lot with Island Spirits and Volcanic Activity traits! He also have the Child of the Island trait. Now he is learning Alchemy. The game with him is really intense so it is good he works as a fishermen so we can have a break sailing and fishing at Sulani sea.

BTW I'm giving all my spellcasters the Storm Chaser trait so they can enjoy a good storm while creating potions:

So... What types of spellcasters have you created? From books, movies, tv? From mithology? From your own imagination?

    My story isn't just a medieval saga it is also a Modern Saga I actually consider this part of the story the "prologue" to the main story.
    At the end of the Prologue, there is a cross over, where the Court mage's Daughter and the Crown Princess, need to flee the Kingdom to escape the wrath of the Queen. When they do, they cross over into my Modern Save, but they enter at the end of another Prologue.

    I have not read that but it looks interesting tho.

    My girls are more earth-mother types. They don't use much magic unless it's needed (though they do like the scruberoo and repairo spells a bit too much). Helly is now training Hayden, who finally aged up to teen. Aga works as a conservationist.

    This is going to be fun for my legacy family, if I ever get back to it. The pack works nicely with my play style - I treat my spellcasters as more wicca-inspired than a different life state.

    @MasonGamer you will love Le Guin... you know it would be awesome if we can have old worlds as we have Sulani or Strangerville, I like both worlds because they are isolated. When I play there it feels like another save.

    @Dannydanbo I play at San Myshuno since day one. I built a lot of apartments, I changed the full world to my taste. But I never played at 888 Spire Apartments :o A few weeks ago I moved a vamp there, silly me, it is really nice to play (and pool included lol).

    @invisiblgirl I want repairo in RL lol Yes, I like that, you can create many styles with this pack... I'm playing now a weird one, I will post it next.

    I love the Earthsea books! The Tombs of Atuan is my favorite! <3

    Wow!! Indeed @LiELF Atuan is my fav one :'( I read those books many years ago... when I read the first I was really young. Some books are milestones in life, the Earthsea Cycle is one...

    So I was having fun with a new wizard: a fake robot, possessed by MOTHER and Paranoic. Looking at him running like crazy at RoM was really fun. I love Strangerville GP and I'm playing the second part of MOTHER story:

    BUT!!!! The situational outfit bug is out of control: at this point all my sages are Knights :| the armors colors do not match, and many spellcaster are wearing non sense outfits. For the first time, for me, this feature is a game breaking. RoM house is less magic and more like a joke.

    Also I found a deadly trap at RoM:

    I was not playing her, how she get there? I fear it was due to the use of brooms, I do not know, but I was forced to use the building cheat to remove those flowers. I do not like to enabled the free build at special lots!

    I will wait for the next patch, for now I will avoid RoM until the situational outfit is deleted from the game lol

    I have the same problem with the knights outfits and it's super annoying. At first I tried "ask to see outfit" to get everyone back to normal, but random townies, including my own Sims, are showing up wearing things that don't make any sense. I'm aggravated because I've never experienced the magical realm as it's supposed to be and it's definitely dampened my enjoyment, which is a shame because I love the realm itself. I think they really should do a routine check for situational outfits with every release.

    I absolutely love your possessed robot! I think that's a hilarious and fabulous idea! :D
