This is a personal pet peeve, I'm sure many might like it, but it seems like a popular thing to go overboard with the clutter. I get that it can feel more realistic to have your sims' house not look totally pristine and tidy, but imo that does not mean having to fill every little area and surface with something. Oftentimes when I download a lot, I go through it and delete like 50% of the decorations.
