This pack certainly renewed a lot with the gameplay and everything just feels so fresh with the added details. It makes playing families have even a lot more meaning along with sims having friends and inviting those friends with participating in holidays and such. It just makes me feel good.

So far, every version of the game has had a turning point -- a point where everything started to make sense and that I could understand the vision for the game.

With TS2, it was almost immediate. Likewise with TS3. For so long had no idea what EA was doing with TS4 and I had to wonder if they even knew themselves. It has taken nearly four years, but I finally feel as if there's been some kind of breakthrough with a pack that finally feels cohesive and full.

Seasons has finally set the bar and I'm hoping that subsequent packs are able to meet or even surpass it.

@Luuciia1, it's definitely a concern of mine that Seasons could be a fluke, rather than a new standard. Only because I've been here once before -- when toddlers was released. I was overjoyed then, only to be disappointed many times and so many ways since.

Right now, I'm cautiously optimistic. EA appears to have finally the right balance with the game play, offering something for everyone. Also, they remembered to add all of the little details that make Sims games so endearing and memorable. I guess that it feels like some of the heart has made it back into the game.
