By chance I discovered today that sims can actually sabotage people's relationships on love day by writing fake letters to stir up drama. It really caught me off guard and the fact the sims team included more mischievous, mean interactions this time really puts the icing on the cake. The description is also hilarious! https://i.imgur.com/DWhE06t.png https://i.imgur.com/gzWe6CU.png
I will definitely use this one for my evil sims. - Cynna10658 years agoSeasoned Ace

@Cynna That's very nice to hear how Seasons have given you more hope for better fleshed out packs in the future. It certianly has for me. If we have a couple of more years of Sims 4 and have things like t his to look forward to with better details then it definitely gets me excited.
This pack certainly renewed a lot with the gameplay and everything just feels so fresh with the added details. It makes playing families have even a lot more meaning along with sims having friends and inviting those friends with participating in holidays and such. It just makes me feel good.
So far, every version of the game has had a turning point -- a point where everything started to make sense and that I could understand the vision for the game.
With TS2, it was almost immediate. Likewise with TS3. For so long had no idea what EA was doing with TS4 and I had to wonder if they even knew themselves. It has taken nearly four years, but I finally feel as if there's been some kind of breakthrough with a pack that finally feels cohesive and full.
Seasons has finally set the bar and I'm hoping that subsequent packs are able to meet or even surpass it.
@Luuciia1, it's definitely a concern of mine that Seasons could be a fluke, rather than a new standard. Only because I've been here once before -- when toddlers was released. I was overjoyed then, only to be disappointed many times and so many ways since.
Right now, I'm cautiously optimistic. EA appears to have finally the right balance with the game play, offering something for everyone. Also, they remembered to add all of the little details that make Sims games so endearing and memorable. I guess that it feels like some of the heart has made it back into the game. - Illandrya8 years agoRising VeteranI’d like to second the above comment. I don’t think I could have expressed my feelings any better.

the stormchaser reward trait does indeed work, i've bought it and the two 'acclimated' traits for my main household. pondering buying the 'never wet' trait for them now, now that one finally got upset at being in the rain instead of just out playing in it
the pets, on the other hand, will always be terrified of the thunder, which makes sense, since my rl doglet is the same way even though she swears she's brave about everything else (until fireworks go off...)
the money tree you can buy from the reward store is also the rare plant from the new 10 added with the pack. it costs 5k satisfaction points like the picture shows, gives you a seed that sells for 1600 simoleons or can be planted (still waiting for my tree to finish growing, but it's an 'all seasons' plant instead of a season-specific one)
I have a Sim with the 'loves the outdoors' trait, and she never gets the sad/scared moodlet from thunderstorms. The toddler does, but it only lasts during the storm.- Simmerville8 years agoLegend

Gift Giving, but the ability to give MONEY! Yes! I can give other sims money, I've always wanted this.
Yay! I did not know this, so glad we can gift money! - Things toddlers can do:
- Hunt for eggs
- Get the sad/scared moodlet from thunderstorms
- Play in leaf piles
- Play in the snow
- Help a parent (or presumably an older child) to build a snowpal (though I'm not sure how much 'help' the toddler gives)
- Tell a story or joke to a snowpal (depending on their mood) - this is my favourite new thing!
- Get excited about a gift pile
- Get too hot or too cold (a notification will appear telling you that the weather is too warm or too cold for the toddler's clothing)

Its super handy, my family has sims relative all around the world and gramps is scrooge Macduck , so in their birthdays to help them out she hands 10.000 check gifts to help them out.- When you have the Lottery event, watch who pops up as the winner, check that household and they have 1 million simoleons. In my save Palo Rocca won and he is set for his sim life now :)
