in TS2 every sim, even the bus & taxi drivers, is a real sim. No cheap or fake ot taking the lazy way. Then, the worlds were real, not mostly decorative art.
Same with TS3 as I realised upon returning to it, though that game does have its own DIFFERENT issues with transport.
I. E. Sims teleporting into cars, random empty cars traversing the world, subways in Bridgeport being the worst idea ever.
Yeah I didn't enjoy the Sims 3 transportation either. It was a bad idea. Sims 4 transportation amuses me too with lack thereof or just the routing issues with it like bikes going smoothly down stairs always makes me giggle.
I wish my bikes could go downstairs. It gets tedious at the Foxbury Uni campus when my Sims stop at the top of the stairs, get off the bike, put it into their inventory, take their time walking down the stairs, stop, take the bike back out of the inventory, get on, ride across the field, stop, put the bike away, climb the stairs, get the bike back out, ride it the fifteen feet to class, stop, leave the bike on the sidewalk, go to Uni class, and then forget the bike belongs to them and wander off when class is done. :s
Makes sense with the stairs and interesting it works for Foxbury, but that is tough Sims forget about them. I guess that was nice in the Sims 3 things the Sims owned they remembered. House boats I did love a lot. The motorcycles were cool too and the strollers.
