I made my simself, husband, and kids in TS3. I played them for a bit until my kids were young adults. It just felt weird to me. Now, I stick to random, made-up sims. I think in some ways a lot of my sim do share similar personality traits to me and family members but they're never blatantly those people. I did make my dogs, and some family pets. I don't play them either. And I just don't like many celebrities well enough to take the time to make them either.
