- Nindigo79Seasoned NoviceAt least some of us can still play Sims 4 without mods and without it breaking. @DeKay , you and some others make it sound like it is basically unplayable. I don't find that to be true. Just saying :) But I do agree that there are many bugs and annoyances. Also, I would rather aforementioned bugs and annoyances were taken care of first before the Devs just skip ahead to Sims 5, leaving 4 in a sorry mess. For example, I can't play Sims 3 smoothly without a handful of mods by NRaas. Which is rather sad.
@thecatsred You know, a lot of communication is lost on a forum when everything is in writing and there is no face to face. When I see a thread that is basically just a brief and re-iterated complaint, then I can easily be left with the impression that the author is just complaining for the sake of complaining as opposed to offering some constructive critism in the feedback or ideas sections. As ultimately, it is not our decision as customers what is added to the game. Thus your feeling of entitlement and "authority" are alien to me. We can hope something gets added, but even if we have expressed a want for something for years, it is still not our call when it comes down to it. I am sorry to have upset you and others. I suppose it is just a difference in mentality regarding such things.. - EA_RtasCommunity ManagerAlright folks I've removed a large amount of posts from in here. As I've said before on a number of occasions, everyone has the right to discuss their opinion about the game on this forum, whether that opinion be positive or negative as long as they follow the forum rules and stay respectful to the community when doing so.
At the end of the day everyone wants different things and everyone enjoys different things, that may not always be the same as other people and that's totally fine and we should all respect that. Same goes for the people who do enjoy the game.
This thread wasn't created to discuss why people should or shouldn't post why they like/dislike the game, so let's bring this back on topic and keep it like that. - atreya33Seasoned Ace

I don't think that I've ever seen a small home with a spiral staircase. In fact, I don't think that I have seen any home with a spiral staircase outside of, perhaps, Bel Air. This outrage may be misplaced.
LOL. I have thought about nothing but tiny houses with steep spiral staircases, which I have seen in real life. Mostly in old renovated houses in the middle of cities. I didn't even think about big luxurious houses that would fit in Bel Air, but now that you mentioned them, I can picture it. I suppose, like regular stairs, spiral staircases also come in different sizes. The small ones really can help save space and still offer more comfort than stairs. - Lmaooo @ releasing a “tiny living” pack and not putting in bunk beds or spiral staircases, two features that have been requested for years.
These people really manage to destroy all expectations again and again. - I think if spiral staircases, ladders, and bunkbeds were added to a free patch (or bunkbeds to another child-related pack) that would be most fair.
Honestly I'd like to see a "Staircase patch 2.0" because there's still SO MANY FEATURES missing or broken from the stair patch. Landings not having tile placements (to match the floor), banisters going THROUGH a landing and preventing a "grand staircase" look, the inability to place banisters at-will, and the massive amounts of space the stairs take up on a second floor (knocking out SO MANY floor tiles needlessly). If we get a staircase 2.0 update, spiral stairs and ladders need to be added to it. - AquaGamer1212New Spectator

ROFL I love a new pack announcement. It leads to such entertaining threads :D
How do people know that the Murphy bed was clearly meant to be in the DU pack? Am I missing something there? Was there a previous leak or something from an EA employee?
Lol, yes, that actually is funny. The murphy bed was never meant to be in the DU pack. They knew you were going to pay for it seperately from the get go :D
Haha but of course.
It's funny cos I've visited a fair number of uni accommodations and not seen a Murphy bed, bunk beds or even sofa beds - just regular beds all the way. That is in England, though, so we could just be odd when it comes to student sleeping apparatus ;)
Well New Zealand uni accommodations are the same so maybe the Americans are the odd ones...
America *usually* has bunk, loft, & single beds in their dorms. - icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerI've seen a couple of really tiny homes IRL and they could've taken some inspiration from those homes.
Wasn't there that 19-year-old who built himself a really tiny mobile home? He had a lot of space-saving measures, like a flatscreen on swinging pulley :0 - Sigzy_29New Spectator

I am more excited for this pack, than the arts & crafts one that will come later.
I miss spiral staircases from TS3, and ladders would have been nice. I kinda miss bunkbeds, but I only want them if the devs make them better than they were in TS3, were sims would climb up/down on the side that was placed against the wall.
That's just a bug. - logionXSeasoned Hotshot

I know they most likely have different teams working on different packs, but releasing this after Discover University makes it feel like they took the Murphy Bed and made a separate pack for it. I would probably have waited to release this, especially if ladders or spiral staircases are under development.
Idk I thought they reformulated their way of making packs. Didn't they say they were just one whole team now, and would work on content and packs together, instead of having separate teams?
That sounds really rough since they are making so many packs every year. Imagine having deadlines to make content for Moschino, Island Living, Realm of Magic and Discover University all at once for 2019. - simmerLellaRising Scout

I've never seen that bug. In my experience the bunk beds function, but I do have a bug that triplicates overlapping bunk beds (in the interest of being fair, lol).
