To anyone curious about the magic tree stump :)

Oh, thanks for posting! I thought this tree stump was working only for a limited time and then turned off. Might try this some day :)

But of course you had to cheat to unlock the stump to place down. did you not?

BTW - the stump already exists on one of my bigger lots. I forgot to delete it when that long gone challenge was taken down.

When these challenges come up, I always like to save the rewards to a lot or room. In case of the tree, I added it to the garden of a house I built back then and saved it to my library. While it is easy enough to cheat a sim into a plant sim, I still like them to actually go through the of getting the forbidden fruit. So I just have them visit the lot in that case.

I believe so...I have my mccc set to have all items unlocked from build mode automatically

I had gather the Magic Beans via seed packets. The stump was already unlocked.

It's a journey (rabbit hole style) that can take quite a bit of time to travel (one sim hour?) where your sim can find new seeds, rare items or a Forbidden Fruit. If your Sim eats the Forbidden Fruit, they will turn into a Plant Sim for five sim days.

For me, it's easier just to plant the Forbidden Fruit to make your own Forbidden Fruit tree so you can have the fruit anytime you want to make your sim a Plant Sim or keep them that way for awhile.

I never have gotten rare items from it; usually just plumbing parts that you can get in any scrap piles, garbage bins, or doggie dig sites. I don't use it much anymore. Has anyone else gotten something better from it?

what does turning into a plant sim do? I have not been able to get all the magic seeds yet
