Okay. It makes sense to me, though. No reward trait, no sleeping on other lots. *shrug* I don't really know of a way to turn the system off without mods, but I doubt it is so complex as to check to see if a household member has the trait and grant the effects to all. Even for parent and child. (I would consider that more weird, really.)
