Yeah, not a fan of this pack either and I am also a vet who has survived Katy Perry's Sweet Treats. Comparing it to the other stuff packs, I really don't think it was done as well as it could have been. All of the items do fit the theme of the pack, it just is not something I will use or wanted. I appreciate more options in CAS and the playdates, however the items were not up to my standards. As you mentioned, I would prefer changing tables or something interactive rather than 4 stumps. I am also confused by the light poles and how that relates to toddlers. I'm not talking about the ball pit because it has been said enough. The only interactive item I would realistically use is the toybox and small slide. The other outdoor toys are way too bulky. The grill and picnic table are eh, they are too bright and cheap looking for me to ever use them over the other options of grills and picnic tables in the game.
Overall, it fits the theme it was going for and I see why some people like it. However, I would have preferred something NOT toddler related? We just got toddlers very recently and parenthood. I also wonder why these items couldn't have just been added to parenthood? But I think we all know why ($$). I just feel that a stuff pack should give more variety and options that can be used in any household. I don't want my backyards to be a McDonald's Playhouse.
Also, I read some of these comments and see a lot of people getting fired up because someone didn't like this expansion. I'm sure after the honeymoon phase wears off, they'll realize these are just more items that never get used.
yeah I feel like this happens almost every pack. where most people get upset if you complain about this pack because instead of complaining you should just not buy it. but its funny how the people who are not getting the laundry pack are getting free pass for complaining about the back but they get a free pass apparently cuz they are not buying it.
