Toddlers Can't Eat Food

Apparently it's a bug and is in the EA forums.

I like to give the toddlers in my game egg-based dishes, especially Breakfast Scramble (Outdoor Retreat), but also Scrambled Eggs and Eggs and Toast and Spinach Frittata. Since almost all of my Sims garden, they also always have a healthly supply of excellent quality or better fruit in their inventory (Growfruit, Pears or Apples, but really any fruit will do) for emergencies and also to give them a quick happy moodlet which helps with building some of the skills. I actually have a lot of toddlers in my current save and I remember them eating Tofu Tacos and the Superfood Salad (requires Wellness skill to make) without any issue as well.

I'm glad that you brought this up, I've been having the same issue. Good to know that it's a bug though and I'll go add my me too. ;)

I’m also having this issue, on PC. For me it was only one toddler so far, out of several I’ve had. That one toddler though... just would NOT eat. Holding the plate forever until I realized what was happening. I gave up feeding her and just used the fillmotive cheat. Also glad to see it’s a known bug. I’ll go add my me too.

I have the same issue on PC too. My toddler was taken away because of this .

I'm having the same issue and I'm on PC. I'm not sure what the issue is.

Use the fillmotive cheat to prevent them being taken. Type:

shift+control+c (to bring up the cheat bar)
testingcheats on
fillmotive motive_hunger
testingcheats off
shift+control+c (closes cheat bar)

If you type exactly as written, it will fill the hunger bar and leave other needs as they are. I like Thai one because I don’t have to cheat all their other needs as well. You CAN replace “hunger” with any other need as well.

Oh, I left out you need to have the toddler selected to do this. It will do it to whichever sim is selected. Also, don’t type the part in parentheses, I just added that explanation because some people don’t know ?

That toddler of mine would not eat anything. I noticed on the bug report many people had luck with eggs and stuff but it wouldn’t work for me. Hopefully that thread will help until they fix it!
