Toddlers

I’d like to see toddlers get whims to play or talk with each other, like they do with their parents and older siblings. I’d also like to see toddlers get the ability to “escape” from a high chair (maybe with a high level Movement or Thinking skill) - same goes for cribs, if we ever get those. It could negatively affect Manners, and parents would have the option to discipline them for it. (And it’d fix the problem of parents always leaving their kids in high chairs - I’ll admit I got this idea when the parents in one of my households AUTONOMOUSLY WENT TO BED with their kid still in a high chair...)

Yes @foxx_fennec I would love for toddlers to escape from the highchair.

Yes - I love toddlers as well. It would be cool to get a few things for toddlers...

- Change Table
- Toddler Swings
- Trucks/Cars for them to drive around
- Musical Toys (xylophone, drums, piano, etc.)
- Dolls

I could go on and on but those are just a few things that would be cool to see in the game (I know most aren't likely just ideas of mine).

I had to do a double take to make sure I didn't post this. It's so time consuming trying to take care of toddlers one at a time. I've partly abandoned one of my saves because there's only one Senior (no adults, ya, or teens) and 4 toddlers. So much work!

I'd like to see them be able to play in the toddler pool together.

I really want toddler swings. I was so disappointed that they couldn't use the swingset from seasons.

Of course I wish there were more things for toddlers but still, there's soooo much to do when more than one toddler is around haha. Personally I'd love to have an option to teach a toddler how to walk :)

My biggest issue with toddlers still is their odd needs, they need so much sleep and are cranky all the time.

Yes they need so much sleep. That's why I read them to bed early (6pm) and make sure the hunger need is really green. They sleep the whole night. And I also make them take a nap at some point of the day.

Yeah, my tots are usually in bed by 7 after dinner and a potty trip. They end up sleeping late enough for mom to care for herself in the morning.

@mintycupcake I don't blame you for giving up on that one.
