Vlad just turned up as the receptionist in my science career. I was going to freeze him but it was time for my sim to go home. If he turns up again he will have to be deleted from the game. I don't know why my regular receptionist disappeared. This is the only thing I find super annoying.
Wims are also a problem with sims constantly getting a wim to research vampire lore on the computer but wims are just annoying In general anyway.
In one save Vlad did enter my sims apartment uninvited and bite him while everyone was sleeping. Other than messing up his first day of work it wasn't that big a deal and hopefully was a one time thing. Usually he just stands outside the door until morning.
How can you not interact with a vampire if you don't know they are a vampire? I guess if you wait long enough they will do some vampire actions but Vlad did nothing but play on the computer if I had not known who he was I would have had my sim introduce himself.
Now is Lilith immune to the sun? She was at a party at the bluffs and was still dancing away at 10 AM when I sent my sim home to sleep. I went in and edited the generated vamps so they don't dress like regular townies and I can keep better track of them. I have found so far my game wants to have 3 townie Vampires. If I delete them, 3 more spawn.
There are definately many more vampires in my vampire save. Especially in Forgotten Hollow. My vampire has to go to the city every Night to find food.
I like this pack enough to deal with the vampires. Aliens running around dressed as aliens but not recognized as aliens is worse for me.
Okay if Vllad (He is the Vampire Master) is showing in your place of work would be normal as he is a sim in the game and the game programs them to be co-workers - it is supposed to happen. But coming into your sims apt without an invite ever from you is not something that happens. Even the vampire Lore book says vamps cannot go into a sims living quarters if they have never been invited in and I know in my game they never come in as I have never allowed any in. Once you allow them in then they can come back all the time.
As for deleting a programmed character that might be an issue as they are not homeless sims generated by the game - in fact he is the most major of the Vamps for the pack - and you might have issues with your game if you do that. My niece and her friend both got their games corrupted by deleteing the three resident Vampires even though tons of people tell players to - it is not recommended when a character is in the actual programming as the game is programmed to tell that sims to do various things and when it is not there it can create conflict in the IA and do anything from corrupt the saves related to that game to creating lag when the game starts searching for the sim it has to control to do things. It is a different matter removing just game generated Sims in this game. If you want them gone they need to die to keep things like that from happening. From my understanding he may be respawn eventually but not sure when or if this is a fact as the devs were not clear on that - but usually programming needs the subject control it is programmed for or it creates serious issues.
In past sims games it created corrupt files, and saves, and created freezing and lag.
