Tomarang World Discussion Thread

Hmmmmm... Now I have to rethink my whole build. Sure I could put it in another world but I wanted them to live in the new one.... Hmmm.. o(╥﹏╥)

Ha, I mosly play smaller lots, too @DaWaterRat Yesterday I built on a lot the Copperfield church with the Vicarage and a tenant cottage + several patches of land to farm. Oh, and a stable for a horse, and a graveyard. All on a 30x30 lot, LOL. The only thing that annoys me is the vicarage's dining room that can seat 6 sims but is too small for this kind of house. I'll post a few pictures on my blog eventually, just not tonight...

On YouTube pixelade has a map with the size of each lot in the world, they are smaller lots in the world than I expected too. Im sure other you tubers have pictures of the world too with lot sizes. And the new picture shows an apartment, a park, and some houses in some of the lots..

It would be wonderful if they gave us another free world for base game. But if they did, I would be extremely shocked. Please shock me EA….

Oh well, at least we can put our apartments in any world.

I downloaded a couple of duplexes long ago for New Crest It looks like my duplex owners are going to become property managers for the other side.

If the latest leak is to be believed the largest lot size will be a 40×30(only 1) with the majority of lots being 30×20 or 20×20.

I thought part of the gameplay revolved around interacting with your neighbors. I would think having common spaces would be important for that. We do have some really great builders on the gallery, I'm sure they will come up with some creative solutions to the small lot sizes.

ohhhh oops i missed this leak! thank you. yeah um 40x30 as the largest seems kind of like a weird choose considering this pack involved shared spaces and apartment building lol.

The 40x30 is close to water but not on the beach. I'm going to put a large waterpark there.

A themepark with a ferris wheel would work good there as well but I chose a waterpark instead.

Well dang. If the largest lot is 40x30 then neither of the apartment buildings @FatTribble23 and @lori171957 built will fit in the new world. ? I was sure we'd get a 64x64. I'm going to try to recreate one of them to fit the 40x30. Or maybe look for a three floor build that will accommodate two apartments on both the 2nd and 3rd floors with common areas on the 1st floor.

I love small lots but not for this world. I'm really disappointed.

meanwhile I was worrying the lots are too dang big :lol:

what can I say I love me tiny lots
and even with apartments I am more likely to build upwards

I think you could also make some basement common areas. I know I did in my builds. I guess we will see once the game changers have a chance to show their videos. And I’m assuming all out door areas not included by a special unit fence will be common too.
