Tomato question

I was wondering in what see pack would you find/get tomatoes a veggie pack or fruit pack? I'm asking cause I can't find that stand where I usually find it that sells the fruits veggies. Or where can I find a tomato plant? :/

Another thing you can do with Seasons is put Patchy the scarecrow in your garden. You can search Patchy's pockets for seeds at least once a day. Of course, it may take quite awhile to get the seeds you want if you're only looking for one plant.

Tomatoes are also in the Summer seasonal seed packs, put since there is only one seed type per pack in those, it can take a few packs until you get them. For my Sims who are short on cash, I also usually get them from the small garden in Oasis Springs, as mentioned above. If your Sim doesn't live in that neighborhood, they might have to camp out there for a couple of days to get the plant to the harvestable state.

Thank you! I couldn’t remember what seed packs they came in and I couldn’t find it anywhere. Like I checked Carl’s but since tomatoes were base game he didn’t update where to find them beyond Slipshod Mesquite, and nobody else has either.

If you have Seasons, you can set a holiday with "Appease the Gnomes," which usually appears with Harvestfest, to make the gnomes appear. If you make the gnomes happy, they'll teleport around your lot for the day leaving seasonal seed packets in their wake. This is a pretty quick and easy way to stock up on random harvestables.

If you have Eco Living, you can either add a votable community lot to your neighborhood or live in one of the Evergreen Harbor neighborhoods, and then vote for the local community lot to become a Community Garden. If you visit immediately after it's voted in, you'll notice that NPCs will spawn harvestables in all of the garden bed slots and then roll out to plant them. However, you can grab them with the cursor and place the harvestables in your inventory before they get to it, and eventually someone else will replace it with a new harvestable. They'll try to plant everything except for the Vampire or ROM plants, so you're very likely to see tomatoes eventually.

I have all the dlc, but haven’t played gardens in awhile but, I’m starting a legacy in the 1890’s and I want my family to start out farming to earn their living. So thanks so much for the tips! :)
