The plant my sim is facing is the Poison Fireleaf. There are a few others of this same plant in this general part of this section. Once you get to Granite Falls Forest head to the direction to the entrance that will lead your sim to the hidden lot where the hermit lives. I've pointed to it in the photo to give you an idea where one of those plants are at.
Thank you so much for trying to help, but I think my game is bugged. I lined it up like your above pic and there was nothing there or in the surrounding area. ? But, I do appreciate your help!?
Do you have Seasons installed? If so, you can only find it when it is in season (I think that’s in the summer if I remember correctly).
