Traits you Avoid

I really wish having one flaw was mandatory; it was the one good thing from Medieval. But yes, I agree with @thesimmer14 in that I find it amusing how many traits listed here that I use almost always myself.

I recently gave one of my Sims the Hot-Headed trait and it became the reason this picture exists.

Taero was really irritated from her first day of work as an Unruly Activist. I thought it would be interesting if she is someone who wants to make the world a better place, but also has little patience for it. :) I haven't been back to play her yet since I started my BACC though.

I never avoid any of them, because I usually randomize the traits. Only if I plan something special for the Sim I choose them myself.
I'm currently bored with the creative trait, because it comes up too often when I use the randomize traits button. Also the permanent inspired moodlet on creative Sims is annoying.
I love negative traits on my Sims.

Glutton
Mean
Slob

Story-wise it can be interesting. For example Bella Goth has the 'good' trait, her son who's also a super spy the 'evil' trait. (In my game)
His sister has the 'evil' trait. They will be sitting there plotting something evil and doing the evil maniacal laugh as their mom walks by... :D

I've used all of them at one time or another. The ones I use the least have to be Insider, Squeamish, and the animal lovers trait. I have a whole neighborhood of loner/kleptomaniacs in one save. With a random 3rd trait. It's a lot of fun.

I avoid the "hates children," "foodie," "glutton," and "insider" traits for similar reasons posted above.

Hates Children is just annoying for me, as I am a HUGE family player.

I think that's it really, I enjoy most of the traits, mainly because they add some stupid stuff to the game.

I’m currently playing with a household of four sims and one of them has clumsy and the other has glutton and tbh I haven’t seen any negative moodlets associated with either of those traits. Clumsy seems pretty useless at this point except the sim breaks dishes when she’s trying to wash them. The glutton can rummage for food in the trash which is fine for me since I’m doing an off the grid live off the land type of gameplay and times get tough. ?
