UPDATE: Okay, here's the rundown on how it went. I did have all three weddings in a single day, but I discovered when setting up the original Event, you can only have one bride and groom — However, you can add additional weddings on that very same day. The only catch is that you can only have One Goaled Event on any given date. So, I set up Erik & Kayleigh's wedding, first, as he knows the Golden family and could invite them. But, I only allowed for an hour between the weddings. Whatwas I thinking? They are now living in a huge home (would make a really nice hotel) and the backyard is nicely landscaped, perfect for that outdoor wedding. I did forget how long it takes for guests to arrive to a home lot. Major mistake. The wedding clock kept ticking down and for a little while I feared no guests would even show up, let alone the hired help. First wedding was to be held at 9AM, the second at 10 AM the third by 11 AM. Well, the cakes were baked the evening before. With the delay of the guests showing up, all three tiered cakes were spoiled by the time the reception was to begin. I split the couples into their new family units, moved them all into their own abodes, and sent Brianna off on her mission with Starfleet.
This left me quite unhappy. So, the next day, I decided to see where my last (rolled back) save left things. I did have to repeat their last day of Uni, but that allowed me to make some necessary changes so that I might proceed in a more favorable mood over it.
I decided to change the location of that dwelling, for one. And when I set up the weddings it was at a new wedding venue I found in the Gallery. Very nice. Then I changed out tuxedoes (the color mainly for each groom) and dressed the brides accordingly. I had the weddings spaced at two hours apart. Long story short, it still didn't work out as planned. Face/palm.
Suffer me to say, I tried a third time (it being the charm, I hear) with the notion I would set the weddings three hours apart. I also changed the color of the tuxedoes back to where they were the first time, with the hope that some of the more charming photos captured from the ill-fated first wedding(s) would be useable. But, before I could do that, I had to use MCCC to remove their marriages, in fact I had to delete the relationships and cheat them back in place, which left the fellas having to ask their ladies to be their girlfriends and then propose again. But, it was a very small price to pay to get the weddings to come off better than the first two tries.
They are all safely married now. My recommendation is to put FOUR hours between weddings should any of you wish to try this. Despite it not coming off as nicely as single weddings have in my game-playing past, I am more satisfied with the third time through. Thank you all for your input.
