About scandals, I'm curious to know if it includes Alien baby from abduction and Science baby with a rival family.
I heard Secret Baby only occurs if you "lie" about who is the parent (both parents would be nice for Jon Snow scenario).
I would like to know if adoption is still detected as biological child.
But I saw nothing about Secret Wedding like Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet did behind the back of their families.

I'm wondering if I can play a single sim that stays a commoner.
That goes to the balls and does some duels but doesn't have anything to do with ruling a kingdom or making a dynasty?
I don't rotational play or make families in my sims games, Will this pack let me play the way I play the sims?

Hm, while I enjoyed the footage of today's video, I came to realize that dynasties is actually how I already play my aristocracy. I have many Houses, and there is always one Head of House. Each House even has a club to keep track on their central members. I do welcome some new features, and I will of course register the most important Houses as dynasties, but as I already have Coat of Arms / Emblems, that are not listed in the dynasty founding options, I'm a bit unsure what to do. I wished they would allow for custom images, or at least a generic shield to use for played families already having a symbol. My family trees will look a bit weird now that members of a dynesty will be tagged with a symbol that is different from the symbol they used in my game for up to seven generations, and still use.
I was a bit disappointed with the (lack of focus on new features in the) familytree. I was expecting them to show off a bit more complex trees, but there might be some more to it with the coming BG patch. Oh, the non legit child was a nice touch, but I wonder if all children being born outside marriage will have a dotty line, or will it only relate to dynasties? Many of my sims were born by parents living together, but not being married, they are mostly commoners, though.
I think I might focus a bit more on nobility than dynasties, but this pack will definitely keep me busy for a long time, both organizing all my existing nobles and Houses, and to benefit from BB/CAS and new features in the best way.
In case anyone needs missed this info on ball dancing here it is.

One thing that I'm noticing is that it may be difficult to have multi-generational dynasties or royalty "in the background" of your play. Both the Noble Career progression and Dynasty heir designation require active play, encouraging some small degree of rotational play, even if it's just one or two days every once in a while.
I'm not sure I really see this as a negative, per se, because in some cases it could easily be a positive. More something to be aware of, and have cheats ready for so that you can hop into a Legacy family for a little bit and "fix" things to a certain degree (somethings may not be easily "fixable" without cheat mods, and other things may not be adjustable at all if you weren't playing the family at the time.)

Clubs as dynasties was disappointing. I was expecting family tree managing/editing.

I'm skimming the discord Q&A for an answer...
Dynasties have prestige which allows you to buy perks for your dynasty
Having a Politician Sim in a Dynasty with Diplomatic Values increases Prestige for the Dynasty just by going to workSo possibly having one with wealth or something similar may have a similar impact for Business

If I remove Nobility, Swordsmanship and Secret Child, I don't know what role Dynasty could have.
What Dynasty gameplay will do for Politician (Kennedy) or Businessman (Kardashian) ? This trailer didn't tell.
