UGH! Nightclubs and Celebrities!
One of the few things you can do in sims 4 is go to a Nightclub. Get Famous totally breaks that event if you have a DJ Booth. And why wouldn't you have a DJ Booth??? Meaningful activities are limited ...

I think it was intentional but the Law of Unintended Circumstances kicked in. We could see some tuning down of some of the features, but it might take a while (look how long it took leaf piles to get fixed).
Whomever it was who suggested removing speakers from venues, thank you; I downloaded a karaoke bar from the Gallery (it's perfect for Windenburg) and it has a stereo; maybe if I take that out Dirk Dreamer won't show up and start dancing (he's not even that good!) and distract everyone from watching my Sim do karaoke.
