Ugly children

I tried to fix my ugly toddlers, how do you access the CAS to do this??? Used to, you could click on the mirror and there was an option to change a sim or buy that machine to give someone a "makeover." how do you change them now????

I wouldn't say any of mine are downright ugly, but I have had some... unique looking children born in my game. I never mess with genetics, I leave them as they are except for giving them better eyebrows (because that's something that can be changed IRL).

two of my best looking sims had a very unattractive baby girl. I am going to adjust her with the cheat code when I get home today. She looks NOTHING like either one of her parents.

I always ALWAYS edit them, I don't mess much with the face, I just tweak the features so it looks more put together and attractive. If there's a Sim that I don't think is that cute, still, I just adjust whatever is not proportional and that's it, even if they turn out kinda ugly :D

You have to insert in the cheat box "cas.fulleditmode" after you insert the "testingcheats on". Then you click shift + left mouse button at the same time in the sim. You click in edit in cas, that's were you can change everything!

Usually when sims come out with this bad of a genetic mix I go into cas and play with genetics until I get something that looks a little more reasonable and proportionate. Otherwise your townies will end up with freaky genetics later on :/

I was told that Malcolm Landgraab made ugly babies lol because I was going to use him with my legacy founder. Thank goodness I listened lol

If my Sim kid ever turns out ugly, I will still love them the same. I tend to remember the 'ugly' ones or the ones with distinguishing features.

And let's face it, it's not the worst thing. Ugly-as-nature-intended is not as ugly as some of the random outfits you see out there in the Sim World. I mean, elbow length gloves and an officer hat. Come on :lol:

This is why I never pair up Miko with Akira their Genetics don't Mix well. Same with Malcolm or Johnny.

K you win, and I thought my Sims' offspring were bad :D

I never change how my (in game born) Sims look like. I do change their style, hair, makeup etc. sometimes I add moles or freckles (because skind details are not inherreted). Sometimes my kids look good sometimes they look fab. But I did change skin tone to two of my kids because their father was an alien and the kids (5 of them) were all humans but with their father's blue skin. I did change it to grey-ish skin for the two youngest kids.
Eleanor - born in game. She has her fathers wide nose, but I still love her to death.
