I noticed something with merfolk that made me happy to see.
So, the sleeping in the water animation is identical to the back floating animation, but after the patch that addressed the crashing, I noticed that merfolk will occasionally drift underwater while sleeping. I think the little detail was nice to see. Merfolk sleeping in the water still doesn't speed up time like sleeping in a bed.
Also, my merfolk with the forever fresh trait will autonomously sleep in the water even if they have a bed assigned to them to gain energy. So, the preference for being in the water isn't exclusively about maintaining hydration.
