Uninstall an update?

You should be able to disable the wants and fears but whims are gone after the update.

I don’t think there’s anyway to reverse a game update.

I'm on PC myself so I'm not well versed on Xbox but I really don't think it's possible to uninstall an update. Unless proper disc versions exist (i.e. all the pre Highschool Years content as a physical copy with no online requirements for install) then even if you were to uninstall the game and then reinstall it, you'd need to be online and it'd automatically update the game to the latest version.

well if they see how displeased people are they may update it give the gurus a tweet if you can

Unfortunately, the game updated more than just wants and fears, and playing without it may have undesired consequences.

I believe you have the option to turn off wants and fears similar to lifestyles in game options if that's the only thing you dislike there's a quick solution.

Also if you’re planning on getting the new pack you can’t install it without the update because it contains code the new pack needs to work in your game.
