They age like normal from what I can tell. You can also take classes at home. There are specific student housing, though, that you can move in when enrolled and will have to vacate when you graduate.
@Calico45 I wasn't aware that moving to Uni was no longer mandatory. That is completely different from TS2.

Is the degree progress registered elsewhere from age progress? I assume in the career progress tab?
