unplayed premade pregnant
hi, this is my first time making a discussion so i'm not sure if this is the right place, however i figured i'd reach out as currently i'm somewhat confused.
i was playing one of my save files (the one i center around get famous), and while i was playing the game, octavia moon came over to my house - normally, this would be an expected encounter, as octavia and my sim are friends. however, when interacting with her, i noticed she looked different than normal, so i had my sim interact with her. after clicking on her, i was greeted with baby-related interactions.

turns out, octavia moon is pregnant; however, the weird thing is is that i have never played her or her family before, meaning that she presumably tried for a baby on her own. from what i remember, the sims 4 lacks 'story progression', meaning that unplayed sims cannot autonomously get pregnant, so the fact that octavia (an unplayed premade) is currently pregnant in my save confuses me. (octavia has also never gotten pregnant in any of my other saves, so i'm ruling out the possibility that she was pregnant at the start of the save)
tdlr, octavia moon is pregant, despite having never been played in my save.
has this ever happened to anyone else? and if so, do you know the cause? (i'm not complaining, as i enjoy surprise elements in game; however i would like to figure out the reason behind all of this)
