Kits will be returning to the EA App for PC/Mac starting today, April 16, and to Steam on April 20.
Purchasers will continue to receive a 5% discount when using a Creator Code with a kit purchase.
Kits are finally back in the app! I’m buying a kit pack today to show my appreciation to EA for listening. 😀
And it's still possible to purchase them with Moola in the Marketplace, they aren't removed
Giving the player/customer the choice is always the best. I wouldn't want to use moola but some people might. Now that kits are available in the EA app again, I might still get possible future releases.
I'm happy now to have the action cool downs on console. It was getting ridiculous how many drinks my foodie, usually inspired and loves mixology sim was making. She wasn't even drinking the ones she'd made either, just kept making more and more and leaving them on the bar 😂 and they'll be no more family gatherings around the computer as they wait in line to autonomously use it either so that'll be a nice change 👍

I never understood why those were put under marketplace at all 😅
and yes, I am far more likely to go and buy them on EA App
than going through all these hoops to find them on marketplace
Thank you for confirming this info, I wasn't sure about it.
It is nice to see kits moved back to the EA App & Steam, IMHO they should never have been removed in the first place. I now might consider purchasing another kit in the future.
I also hope that this move means that the Marketplace is not doing quite as well as EA hoped that it would. I despise any storefront that requires the purchase of proprietary currency.
This patch note is a copy/paste of March 17 patch note, nothing really new for PC/Mac players.
It doesn't seem April month will get new kits.
I still hope that there is a chance to bring back "Disable packs with EA App". At least bringing Kits back to the EA App is better now.
I love that there has been no new major addition recently; it's better to focus on fixing numerous bugs, not adding more troubles.
