- annaliese397 years agoSeasoned AceAnother vote for Laundry Day and Toddler Stuff here. Laundry Day would be my first choice. It's one of the larger SP with lots of lovely CAS and build objects and gameplay value. I'm also a family player and there is something very relaxing about watching my sims do their laundry, which is also great for raising child sim's responsibility. It's definitely one of my favourites and this is coming from someone who didn't even vote for the laundry theme. Toddler Stuff is a really cute SP with lots of much needed CAS and build objects for toddlers. If you play toddlers a lot and want to take them to the park / on play dates, I definitely recommend it.
Honourable mentions - Romantic Garden is great if you're into playing outdoors and want beautiful garden areas. Your sims can play around in the fountain and The Wishing Well also allows you to wish for a child among other things, with the outcome ranging from good to 'less good'. Vintage Glamour is another great pack, especially for rich and celebrity families. I love the theme and build objects, particularly the bar globe and vanity table which I believe children can also use to put on make-up. Of course there's the butler feature too. Both RG & VG also come with really nice CAS items.
Luxury Party and My First Pet are two of my least favourite SPs, but I do use them from time to time. LP goes well with Get Famous and is great for weddings and other events e.g. if you want a chocolate fountain and buffet. My First Pet of course goes well with Cats and Dogs, but I don't use it much since I rarely dress up my pets, although I do like giving my child sims hamsters to care for. I would recommend checking out the SimsVIP guides and other reviews if you haven't already to see which SPs appeal to you the most. - Toddler pack as they explore, ask about present and future, so curious they pick up daisies, dandelions and make a wish before blowing the white feathers away.
- texxx787 years agoSeasoned AceI would say toddler stuff and laundry day. Note that i don't own toddler stuff, but it's one pack that I wish to get, as im a family simmer too. Laundry day I do own and it adds to the game imo. I always have either washing and drying machine, if my sims are extremely busy, or I do the ecological way, which is so cool. It's actually what I prefer. Sims gain fitness skill by washing the clothes by hand and I'm always worried about the weather when I put the clothes to dry in the clothesline. Sims get a nice moodlet when dressing washed dry and hot clothes but it's not a bummer if they forget to do it right. Also maids and butlers take care of everything. And your sims also use the machines autonomously.
- GenSimmer7 years agoRising VeteranDefinetly laundry day stuff.
Toddler stuff is the best second option but for me it has too big objects for every day gameplay.
But you do get a lot nice toddlers clothes - Toddler Stuff definitely. My First Pet Stuff is nice for kids and toddlers, but Toddler Stuff gives you new hair and way more clothes for them. Imo they lack variety without it. Laundry Day has some nice kid CAS (but only like 2 outfits) and is good if you want chores for your kids, but it's kind of limiting for them imo. If I recall correctly, they can only use the machines and not the washboard, plus if the machines are stacked they can't use the top one. I'd do with Toddler Stuff as a definite.
- evilyn_377 years agoSeasoned AceLaundry Day and Toddler Stuff. If you use CC I think toddler stuff is not as necessary. But since I don't it's a must have for me. I also like the slide and it's small enough to be added to most lots.
- Toddler Stuff comes with lots of new cute hairstyles and clothes for toddlers. It also comes with a jungle gym, a slide, and other stuff, as well as providing a new event: Toddler Play Date Event.
- I don't have Toddler stuff so I can't speak about it, but I love Laundry Day stuff pack!!
- Fluteline247 years agoSeasoned AceBackyard stuff provides SO MUCH for family play. Toddlers too.
I personally can't stand laundry day because laundry is OBNOXIOUS. - atreya337 years agoLegendToddler stuff because it adds playdates specifically for toddlers as well as toddler playground items. Laundry stuff would be a close second.
