Are you sure you looked thoroughly? I remember in the Build/Buy mode stream there were non-rope entryways available.

There are doors with both options, but the archway only has the one. Trying to find a modded version without the rope right now but I am kinda peeved as well that they didn't include a regular option, especially since I am using the new doors and windows in my current build.

Oh they should add a version of the archway without the rope! Seems like an oversight

I haven't fully checked out the build items, but you've just given me a marvelous idea. My Global Superstar is engaged. He's going to need all kinds of security. I may just build a wedding venue using said archway. I hoped to place a bouncer, but that rope should come with one. :) Unless, of course, he and his fiancée break up again. She really can't handle his adoring fans.
