I like the Homey, Convivial, Natural Light, Bracing Breezes, Science Lair lot traits for skilling but I don't use them anymore so I guess you could say they're useless for me. Reason being I love to take screenshots and I can't turn off the little stars/lightbulbs that circle around my Sim. They ruin screenshots so I stopped using them. Also, I believe they bog down my lots too. I wish they'd patch in a way to turn those things off when I want to take a screenshot. *sigh*
However, I do use Private Dwelling and most recently the Registered Vampire Lair lot traits. Those two don't have any stars/lightbulbs dancing around.
