Using the new items/clothing in Get Famous

I really want to use the new mid century modern furniture but my sim won't be able to afford it right away. I'm also looking forward to using some of the more glamorous furniture for my exclusive venues.
Also can't wait to use the new pond object. I'll probably put that on park or cafe lot that will be frequented by the starving artist community.

I plan on making a gold theme bathroom with the gold toilet,sink,tub and shower.

I plan on creating lots of ghost sims with the period costume pieces. Assuming, if I can access them immediately without the need to go into the Acting career. If not, there's always unlocking mods...

I’m thinking a steampunk pirate look and build would be fun. I like to play a history-related challenge and so the new outfits fit that perfectly. And the futuristic items might be fun for some aliens or even Sixam build.

1.The vault can be used in the Landgraab's house because I made a room in the basement with valuables already.
2. Sci-fi things and some of the clothes will be for my aliens.
3. I have a pirate family that can use the new duds and the ship parts lol
4. Perhaps some of my vampires can use the Victorian clothes.
5. I can have a McCree from Overwatch with the western clothes
6. I can have a Hanzo from Overwatch with the new man bun. (is that what it's called?) lol
7. and etc

I'm gonna be able to have more Halloween costumes for my sims as well as creating sims from other time periods.

I'm excited for the dresses, they look so good!

I wonder if they'll implement ways to have actual historical play i.e. by removing the reliance upon phones and other technology. I love historical content but as it stands it's impossible to successfully play the game without some use of modern technology, at least without mods. I used to do that sort of thing a lot in Sims 2, and even Sims 3.

I love the new CAS items, but I'm disappointed that the costumes seem to be locked behind the acting career. Honestly, I wish no CAS items were locked behind careers. Except maybe things that are exceptionally career specific.

I have a great wish for the neutralization of technology in the game. I can remove TVs and computers but I can't prevent my Sims from using that darned phone. This is one of the reasons I'd like to have newspapers and house phones back, so we can still have some of the options from the phone and computers be used through simpler objects. Plus, I really can't stand the random texts and would like those silenced for good. They don't even make sense if my Sims never exchanged numbers with the person in the first place. I feel that Sims shouldn't be contacted that way unless the player actually chose to give out the number.

Anyway, maybe we'll get something down the line that will enable us to play in other eras better. Here's hoping!
