Vacation world sims

I really enjoy sending my sim to selvdoria and exploring the culture and stuff. What I don’t like is when she gets home and everyone she met on vacation (which I assume is very far away) is hanging out everywhere she goes and calling and texting all the time.

The sims you meet in vacation worlds should stay there.(unless you the player decide to move them via manage worlds or inviting them to household) It adds to the romantism/drama of the whole meeting someone from a different world.

Quite agree, both counts. In TS2, the folks you met on vacation stayed there except as you noted. What was annoying was how 'locals' in the Orient or South Seas often had British/American features and names. Rather a disconnect when the local in a kimono looks like a blonde Swede and is named Harry Jones.
  • That's pretty unfortunate @hmae123. But I suppose that the reason that Selvadoradan natives keep showing up in other worlds is because they don't have a home of their own. They're like any other un-housed Sim. They're free to roam as they like. No one bothered to build them homes or to anchor them to the world.

It's odd because those are features that have been present in the series for over a decade and now... I dunno. I just don't know.
  • I don't have JA yet so I can't really say anthing about it. However, I also find it annoying that Sims who live in San Myshuno don't stay there either. I like to pretend they live in another country and I'd like it if we could only meet them when going to that country...
