Vampire Babies

My apologies if it's been asked already, I can't find anything with my searches...

Can a vampire sim actually have a "human" baby with a non-vampire sim? I'm on baby 15 and they're ALL vampires. Everything I do read suggests that the chances are 50/50, but I have 15 babies with 14 baby daddies who aren't vampires so my findings so far are it's 100%. If it was truely 50/50 I should think I wouldn't have needed this many babies to prove it. Even if it was 60/40 or 70/30 I should not need this many babies. Has anyone actually ever birthed a regular sim to a vampire/non-vampire couple?

  • Sometimes it’s just like that ?

For example- my legacy founder with Caleb had 4 kids. 3 out of 4 were vampires. Then Caleb got abducted by a alien, and had a vampire/alien hybrid because of course he did.

THEN two of the daughters both married humans (though one later turned her husband). Both had nothing but human children until I turned on the dark leyline on one lot ?
  • I have a Vampire who has had 13 babies, all vampires and all girls. Go figure the odds.
As they say, "try, try again."
  • It is possible but more likely to be an occult if one of the parents are, one of my sims had a human baby before with a vampire, this only happened to me once though
  • If you really want your sims to have cute little vamp babies just click on the Vampire Babies lot trait.
  • I played vampires in 4 households, non having the vamp lot trait. I had to limit their offspring because they all turned out to be vampire babies even if one parent was human. I'm not sure if I had just ONE (out of twenty?) human baby, I might have cheated it though.
