Vampire CAS glitch?

Not the same but CAS related. I put pointed ears on my vampire. They show in cas but not in- game. He has no dark form so it can't be because of that...

I haven't experienced any of those bugs -- are any of you using CC especially facial CC? May have broken with the pack release.

Try going back from dark form to regular form then dark form then regular form again. I had this issue with caleb as he had vampire teeth with his normal form. I fixed that in CAS so he had his vamp teeth only in his dark form, but it didn't show up right away. I had to switch between his forms then it updated. I dunno if it'll work for everything, but for the teeth issue it fixed it.

You guys I hope you all get it sorted. I would suggest closing down the game and running repair and then trying it again. I have lots of cc in my game but so far *knocks on wood* no problem with using any of the new content, or my sims turning into their dark form or saving outfits.

Are yall using mods or cc?

I went into this problem while making some townies for my city.
I used a vampire i already had created to make a new vampire for a other household. Everything i changed would change aswell, untill i made the dark form.
I didnt want my vampire to have tattoos or the vampire facedetails. So i removed it, i saved and exit the game. Later i went to change her hair since i wanted it to be longer, and i noticed her dark form had the tattoos i had removed and the vampire facedetails. I tried to edit, save and exit but it didnt work. I updated my game but it was already updated.
I repaired the game but it didnt seem to work either.
I tried to override the facedetails and tattoo i had problems with to see if it would change. And it did change!
So i was thinking it fixed the bug. I went back in to cas to remove it and save, but when i went back in to see if it was clear and finally fixed, it had just putted the facedetails and tattoo back again. (the old ones) as if it was a default skin for my sim.

- So i figured the only way to fix this would be making her as a new sim. I made her a twin sister. fixed the twin up to look like her 100%. It seemed to work.
I dont know if the game bugged because i used a sim from a other household to shape her?
It only happend in a darkform and everything else was fine beside the tattoo and vampire facedetails.
She had the tattoo in sim form aswell but it did remove and didnt stay.

- I remember having this problem before with a other vampire i had downloaded from the gallery and it didnt let me change hes dark form cus it kebt doing this bug. I honestly dont remember what i did or if i just started live with the stupid bug. I started play with him and make him a family. Either i got used to it since i dont use dark form alot for him or i fixed it and dont remember how. Sadly :/

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there. If it has helped with the issues, put your mods/ CC back into the newly generated mods folder that is in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing after each one to see which is the causes of the problem.
Cc eye items are causing this issue for some simmers.

This bug unfortunately still exists.
Here is a vampire I uploaded to the gallery.

As you can see, for his dark form I removed all the vampire face details (cracks, veins etc.) and then saved him to the gallery...cause this is what I want him to look like.
But when loading this vampire in CAS again, the game suddenly auto applies the vampire face details to his dark form, which I removed before.

On the left you can see the vampire face as I edited it in CAS (removed all the ugly vampire face details) and as I uploaded him to the gallery.
On the right you can see what his dark form looks like after loading him out of my library/ gallery (suddenly he has these vampire face details again).

It actually seems that he always reverts to the dark side vampire face details which he randomly got after his ingame transformation into a vampire before I edited him in CAS. The game obviously doesn't allow to have "no" dark side face details chosen, so it always returns to the veins and cracks etc. which he had directly after his ingame transformation.

This also happens when saving a game with my vampire beeing in his human form. After loading this save game again my vampire will have the auto applied dark form face details the next time he switches into his dark form.

But when saving a game with my vampire beeing in his dark form, he keeps the appearance which I chose for his dark form in CAS, so the bug doesn't happen in that case.
(So actually I am forced to always switch my vampire into his dark form before saving a game, if I don't want to have to re-edit him everytime I'm loading my save game.)

I also tested this with all mods removed but the bug still remains.

Please feel free to download this vampire from my gallery to see that the gallery preview picture (no dark form face details) doesn't match the sim actually loaded in CAS (suddenly having auto applied dark form face details).
