vampires and door ways

Question

I don't know where to ask this question and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place but my sim lives in a house that has mainly door way arches for a door regarding keeping other people out and a vampire from comming in? Like with regular doors you can lock them but with arch ways what do you do?

On any doors leading to the outside, I will lock the door for all sims, this stops the vampires from coming in, and my sim who is their intended victim from leaving.  Then during the day, or when the sims are awake, I will unlock the front door.  This also comes in handy when my sim decides to check out those strange lights that aliens like to trick them in abductions.
