Vampires, Jungle Curses & Athlete aspiration reward Trait

Question

I have a vampire that has the reward trait that prevents a sim from dying from any accident from completing the Athlete Aspiration. Knowing about how sims can die from a jungle curse. I just wondering can my vampire with the reward trait that prevents a sim dying for any accidental death still die from a jungle curse?

Uhh, I don't think that reward trait prevents accidental deaths in the first place.

You might have misread the description

Reward Trait: Long Lived Lets your Sim live a longer life than other Sims, assuming there are no accidental deaths. This Reward Trait takes effect during the Elder life stage, meaning your Sim will live longer than his or her peers once they reach that age.

That's funny because my sims never seem to die with this trait. Not even my sims that aren't vampires. But then again, it has always been hard to kill off your sim in the game. The only sim that was one of my own creation that I have been able to kill was Alison. And that was with a cowplant years ago.
