You can stop autonomous vacuuming by live dragging the vac out of your sim’s inventory. They cannot use the vac if it’s not in there. Sometimes the dust bunnies spawn in awkward locations and you can’t reach them, lol kind of like real life. But you can move them by turning build mode on, also I have found if they’re still there after one go with the vac, if you ask your sim to “vacuum around” a second time they generally disappear and then you can just cancel the rest of the action.
Yeah, I figured as much. But my Sim is currently at college, and I don't trust for the vacuum to go back into her inventory if I forget to put it back when she graduates. But otherwise, I am enjoying the kit! I think my sim's house just wasn't really suited for all the cleaning (used one of the houses in Forgotten Hollow).
You can get one of the storage chests and see if you can keep it in there. Then other sims can’t swipe it but she won’t vacuum unless you want her to.
Oh, I didn't know about that! Thanks!!!
Yeah, most stuff from personal inventory fits in them the cardboard boxes from Eco Living work the same way. They’re all in misc storage. I don’t know for sure if he vacs fit especially the uprights but can’t hurt to try.
