I think I'll just make my Sims treat them like real life dust bunnies and vacuum them. I simply just wanted my Sims to be able to use a vacuum cleaner. Maybe I'll use the bunnies for money some day if they won't get nerfed.
Yeah, I don't want them nerfed. But simoleans every few seconds is a bit much. It's scary though to ask for tuning adjustments because they seem to tune it to zero, instead of just dialing it back a bit. I have used MCCC to slow down the game speed as a whole, and that has made everything more manageable, so I am happy with that. I only ask the bunnies to search for treasure when my family is really hard up, and slowing the game speed has slowed the random small cash drops from the bunny. MCCC has the game speed defaulted at 25, I moved it to 50 and it's giving me a real nice balance as far as managing my little family of 5 overall.
