The no nerfs attitude is so mind boggling to me as someone who games outside of the sims, especially mmo's. When something is overpowered you balance it. Granted, this is a singleplayer game and not an MMO, but it is clearly unbalanced.
It's different from nerfing vampires to almost never show up, this is something that quite literally breaks the game and makes it completely unbalanced if you don't turn it off. Your sims can get 80k a night from doing NOTHING. There is no option to it, you are forced into it, or disable the pack entirely.
No nerfing because they literally remove features that we pay for because people who don't want vampires buy the vampires pack.
Same thing here. People who don't want dust bunnies buy the dust bunny pack, and then complain there's dust bunnies.
Sims 4 is a glorified dollhouse, if people ACTUALLY cared about nerfing OP things instead of features that they didn't want, yet bought the feature, we would need nerfs for:
- All work at home careers (Too much money )
- Writing (Too much money x2)
- Actually just all careers (Too much money x 3)
- The Sketch tablet (Too spammable)
- Dumpster Diving (you can sell the burned items from your inventory for full retail price)
- Gardening (Ridiculously expensive plants)
- Paranormal Investigator gigs (too easy)
- Spellcaster potion ingredients (too powerful)
- Spellcaster spells (Need longer cooldowns)
- Rock climbing (You can make 5k + each run & there's orchids on top of the mountain)
- Yard sales (People buy things fast no matter what price you put out)
And the list goes on. No matter what you set out to do in this game, you will be filthy rich before your starting sim becomes an elder.
But do people care? No. What people do care, is getting rid of features others paid for, just because they themselves don't like them.
I wasn't aware this was the dust bunny pack, I was under the impression it was called bust the dust kit. A kit with vacuuming as the main selling point, not making thousands of simoleons a night without doing anything.
I don't think you understand, you LITERALLY cannot avoid this. Within 2 sim hours your lot will be filthy and generating thousands of simoleons automatically. Nothing you do can prevent this, short of vacuuming 3 times a day.
Most people don't want the dust bunnies removed, they want them balanced and not literally game breaking.
