Walking styles passed down.

I think it's not. I remember reading it somewhere that you can choose it once the sim reaches a certain age. Then again I'm not sure.

Believe it or not, many people don't walk how they might look.

Plus, whoever said the father's walk style should reflect the son's and the mother's walk style should affect the daughters, I'm sure many people might find that a bit of a gender role issue? It's not always father = son, or mother = daughter. I think it should be randomized to be honest. That way it'll be an interesting turnout. :-o

It can be in real life. People inherit traits from their parents, including postures, how they stand, and......walking styles! We do this because a) we see it on a daily basis from the people who raise us, and b) everything is in our genes.

I want options. I don't want my sims muscle head son, walking like a runway model. And I don't want my sims perfectionist daughter walking like a slouched idiot. It's just stupid. We as players should be able to control what walks the sims offspring's have. Walks aren't genetic, so why in the world would they add this?

It shouldn't be randomized. It shouldn't be in the game at all.

Well looks like someones a little upset. Also, that's really too bad what you want. It's too bad what I want either because they won't listen to our bickering.

And, maybe I don't want my "sims muscle head son" walking like a tough guy? Or my "perfectionist daughter" walking like a snob. Like I already wrote, it makes for a funny result.

Walks are not genetic, you're right, but children CAN mimic how their parent walks.

No politically correct way to say this ... but, I love the feminine walk for a female sim. It looks really good, lotsa sugar in that tank. The feminine walk on a male sim, not so much ... cause he got plenty of sugar in that tank. :shock:

Sims don't have an orientation, but just looking at a male sim with the feminine walk ... he's just lookin for a good time. 8)

Nothing wrong with sugar in the tank and who says you can not make a gay sim walk that way? would be awesome :D as far as being passed down,i still have yet to hear that and IF they are- im pretty sure there will be ways to change that. So relax sugar daddy :lol:

There's also coding in the game that shows their orientation can be optional (be it straight, gay, or into both). I see nothing wrong with a beefcake prancing around my neighborhood. It's none of my business who that sim likes to get woohoo-y with. haha! :lol:

leading onto that I added my "point" to see how you would react if the tables were turned.

I could care less if they're confirmed or not or if I get to choose one bit. It really doesn't matter. Accept the fact that some sims will be silly in your neighborhood. boo hoo. You'll probably get to change it with cheats. I like the idea of having to be able to change the traits and walk style during the baby's birthday.
a lot like they did in TS3 with the character traits.
