Are the rental lots from a mod, perhaps? I don't have IL, but have seen plenty of posters who do have IL saying that you can't vacation in IL--& the only rental lots I know of in the game are from Outdoor Retreat, where the new world is strictly a vacation world. IL is not a vacation world.
