There are way more flattering ways to make all kinds of sims now. Most of all those more options you had in TS3 you didn't use anyway because they would also give you cartoon exaggerated results.
Yeah genetics I think just need a bit more tweaking. It's odd how I got five pale looking girls from two blue parents. It is getting a little bit better. I do like the supernatural capabilities with genetics. Like with aliens, the blood line can look less and less alien over generations. So it has high possibilities as more and more skin tones and supernaturals are introduced. Just a few patches need to be made to flesh it out a bit better. Anyway on topic. I don't know how EA picks the top households, but it would be nice if the Gallery got updated more for finding CC vs. non-CC Sims is a bit easier to find. I do think CC and mods needs to be categorized better so it can be easier to flag some Sims like how popular the pregnant children were on there.
