Weather or Not

Unfortunately no way to set that up in the game, but there are cheats you could just keep entering the one for spring on the first day of summer.

You could use the cheat "seasons.set_season 3" every time it becomes summer, and have the season length set to 28 days in settings. Or if your against using cheats you could use Dr. June's Weather Device, but it takes a very high handiness level, and you have to have the machine on Temporal Modifier Unit Lvl. 8 to change the weather. But I think it's random. So I'd just go with using the cheat.

Rather wish there was more flexibility on seasons, including setting it to keep it one season. I honestly don't mind if Winterfest actually fell on a day during summer. It's not like there aren't places on the globe that would have that naturally occur...
And still leaves a lot of opportunities for chaos and fun with the weather generator.

If you have Get Famous, Del Sol Valley is basically always spring/fall ish. With a greenhouse it is basically spring with no mods/cheats.

You can do this if you want. Delete the pre-made winterfest and recreate it with the same traditions (or different ones) in any season.

You can turn off storms and temperature effects, giving the game the appearance close to the original environment of the game (springlike). You can always only turn on rain if you want it to be a bit more realistic.

Thank you, don't know how I missed this.

I love having seasons in my game, but I'm rather vexed that this time around Spring has been rather frigid. All 14 days of it. I suppose the devs were trying to create the 'perfect' world in that there's plenty of rain. But, no enough is too much. I hate it when it rains almost everyday, no matter where my Sim travels. When my Sim became a Global Superstar, he placed his plaque in the rain.
