You know, I think you're right. Like, I LOVE Vampires, but if we talk 'length of time I've actually devoted to playing my vampire sims as vampires instead of rushing them to sun resistance and playing them as Super Regular Sims', then I've already devoted more time to this Strangerville pack than any previous pack.
I LOVE Outdoor Retreat, despite it being rated fairly consistently one of the lowest of the game packs, but I've only been camping twice (I just love all the add on items as someone who goes camping and hiking A LOT myself). I can't think of any other game pack I've devoted as much time to.
Admittedly, this pack is right up my ally. Cryptids, conspiracies, urban fantasy/sci-fi? Heck yes give me more. I was hoping for Witches but was pleasantly surprised by this pack and it ended up pushing me towards the forums since I was so hyped, far more than any previous pack or expansion.
(Also the music is totally because both are based on popular Southern music, with a creepy vibe, so there is mega overlap. Wish there was some Lord Huron on the Strange Tunes radio but haven't caught them yet if they are. Too bad, they would've been a perfect fit!)
