It's almost a rip-off. I expect three things to happen for those who bought this EP:
- Some people will say it was a waste of money, it was short and anti-climatic and will be bored to death.

And some people will enjoy it for the whole package. The mystery, the town, the career, the build/buy, the CAS, the interactive objects, and all the new possibilities. :)
I agree, it makes me think of many things besides the mystery as well. I love the military career. Because of their new socials and the way militaries progress in their careers, I really want to make a military base for example. I'm just not too sure yet I can build one ? I'd just love to do it. You could even send the whole base or groups of soldiers off on a Jungle Adventure (which would allow me to rent the large explorers' rental for the first time). And yeah, before Strangerville I never really thought of playing anything quite like this. I can still see why some won't like it but, at least for me, it offers enough tools I can use in my own way, and not only through playing the story.
I like the idea of sending your troops on a team-building experience to Selvadorada. If/when University is A Thing I might use the GT clubs system to make an ROTC group on campus. (Next time I have a Sim in the military career I might form a group to work out or march around together.)
Oh yes that's also a good idea to do it as student trips or something! I'll keep that one in mind, thanks for sharing :D I feel we might see University quite soon anyway - should be the next EP right? Although I thought that before they dropped Get Famous on us too but well :D
