We're never getting hotels, are we?

I believe the reason hotels were not on the survey is because a hotels pack is already in production. It takes a long time to create an EP from start to finish. We will likely get 2 EPs next year and they will not be related to that survey. My guess is hotels and bands as they are highly requested but not part of the survey

When for rent was released I really thought it was a step close to hotels. However next was Lovestruck which came with a rabbit hole hotel: that is the exact opposite of what hotels should be in the game. I really hope we can get hotel similar to how they were in the sims 2. I hope the sims team will make this pack, especially now that they confirmed that they want sims for to keep going and going. 

Who knows, we might get hotels when they decide to give us a proper vacation pack.  So far we have only the backpack camping style vacation and the air bnb vacation. If you hire a butler on your vacation rental it feels like you are in a small bed and breakfast type hotel.  But a proper vacation pack with hotel with concierge would be great especially if they add in several needed activities like golfing, beach volley ball, surfing and whatever else people do on vacation. 

I think the game mechanics with residential rentals will be similar to hotels. For that reason I don't think they would follow for rent with hotels immediately. Also, for rent is sort of broken, if the mechanics are similar then hotels would also be broken. I think they need to fix it. I could be totally wrong, I'm just speculating. 

I would love a small update for For Rent where we can change the lot type of each unit. It would let us build so much more builds like an apartment on top of a shop. Would make it so much better. Pls Pls.

Also would love some kind if resort world were there is one main hub and branching accommodations. Maybe another world like Sulani?
