Werewolf/non-werewolf relationship

One of my sims is a werewolf and the other is not a werewolf. They are in a relationship. In my mind the non-werewolf is fine with their partner being a werewolf and wants to support their partner through their werewolf struggles. However in the game their relationship degrades every time the non-werewolf sees the werewolf in beast form, and the non-werewolf is also afraid of the werewolf. Is there anything I can do to make this relationship work better? I wouldn't mind installing a mod or something to make the non-werewolf sim not scared of werewolves and not bothered by werewolves, but since the pack is relatively new I assume no such mods exist.

I'd suggest to try out werewolf diplomacy dormant ability.

To unlock that, your sim needs to ask a non-werewolf for werewolf sympathy and succeed. It requires high relationship, but in your case, you can use that relationship that's going on.

Once that is unlocked, just run the werewolf diplomacy on them to give them Werewolf Ally trait, which makes them not be bothered by werewolfy antics. Of course scaring them will decrease the relationship though...

The other option is to have the non-werewolf sim read the book Beyond Big & Bad: Rethinking Harmful Werewolf Stereotypes. This can also give sims that Werewolf Ally trait. Some sims get it faster than others though, so you'll just have to get lucky there...

I had no idea that you could also gain this trait from a book.
My sim gave the werewolf ally trait to his girlfriend and their relationship is very good. But they are also fated mates. She is a cured werewolf and they became fated mates when she was still a werewolf. the fated mates is still shows in the sims profile after curing her.

Thank you, this is really useful! I'm glad there's a way to make it work without having to convert the non-werewolf sim into a werewolf.

I assumed the fated mates relationship ended if a sim was no longer a werewolf, so thank you for sharing this. I've avoided pairing werewolves with non-werewolves because of the fated mate feature, but I may give it a try now. I want my werewolves to be loyal to their non-werewolf partners.
