Off because:
1. I'm constantly creating new storylines to my sims.
2. I'm clingy.
Same. - LatinaBunny7 years agoSeasoned AceNo aging. I tend to get attached to my Sims and I’m always playing new content with the families. When I want to age them and move on to the next generation or kick them out for a new family, then I start to age them up (at my own pace).
- Reddestiny9217 years agoLegendUsually, long for most of my saves, but I have one on short now.
- Aging off because I'm way too attached to my sims. I age up babies after 1 year which is 112 days with seasons. I never age up children and I usually don't age up toddlers either because I love playing with toddlers so much.
- I play on normal, but I turn it off from time to time.
- nastyjman7 years agoSeasoned AceWow! Thank you everyone for your responses. I was debating whether to add a new gameplay on my challenge. Currently they are designed for Normal and Short lifespans. I am going to add a new gameplay for Long/No-Aging.
- EricasMyTouchQ7 years agoSeasoned AceNormal because I get bored and haven't tried playing with the age settings yet.

I normally left it on normal but for a while I turned aging off. I wanted to have the time to befriend everyone. But I have noticed that the longer NPC sims are around, the buggier they seem to get.
@dfstone Ooh. How buggy do they get?
I notice little things start happening a lot more frequently the longer they are around. Things like getting stuck in one place, lagging, repeating actions, stuff like that. I got a point where I maxed out almost every skill and got to best friend with just about every resident townie, and then the really odd stuff started happening. their clothes started changing randomly, they stopped randomly appearing at venues as the game generated new NPCs, the old ones although still alive and in there houses stopped appearing anywhere else. And it kept going until one of them overheated to death at the gym, ( forgot to turn the a/c on during a heat wave) and then things started going back to normal. I don't think this game likes it when NPCs don't ever die.- elelunicy7 years agoSeasoned AceAging is always off and I never manually age up any of my Sims either.
- It's a toss up between long and off. it's usually off but when I'm at a place to advance the world I usually turn it on but set it to long. I like to have my Sims be a certain set of days old before I age them up so that allows me to play several households without fear of them aging up on their own.
